Summit of Wire earlier this year |
Work and life have been busy over the past few weeks. Luckily, I've had a enough free time to be able to get out a bit. One of my favorite training runs is Mt. Wire. It's close to town, not too long, and, despite the horrible air this summer, typically gives a good view.
In preparation for the glorious winter skiing that's just around the corner I've been trying "go hard" at least once a week. Last Thursday time trialling Mt. Wire seemed like a good idea. I heard rumors that the FKT was 29 mins and change. With that goal in mind I gave it a go. There's not much to say except I went 27:44 and found myself on top vomiting the 2 Gyros I ate for lunch. Go hard? Mission accomplished.

ReplyDeleteCongrats Jason! I knew my time a little soft but I didn't think 2 mins soft. That's fast. I recorded a 29:43 back in May, looks like I might have to give it another go.
