Pacing Leadville

I paced Andy from mile 50 to somewhere around mile 80.  I'm sure he'll give a good report but in the meantime here's a good contrast of what running well looks like and what hitting a massive low looks like.
Andy still cruising at mile around mile 70

When I hear someone drops from a race I typically think they could have kept going if they were mentally tougher.  I'm not sure that's the case here.  In the months leading up to the race Andy kept quoting Pre, "The best pace is a suicide pace and today looks like a good day to die."  Oh well, I say props for giving it a go.

  2. That is so awesome, although I think its unfair that you robbed him of the hallicunatory possibilities of pursuing such nonsense by himself.
